Questions people actually ask
Is the editor really unlimited on the free plan?
Yes. Editing, merging, splitting, rotating, downloading and filling an existing form are unlimited. Saving a new reusable template or fillable form uses a document action.
What counts as a signature send?
Self-signing and one invitation to one external signer each use a document action. Free includes one external signer per request; multiple signers begin on Basic.
Are my files uploaded?
Not when you use the free browser tools. They are only stored when you deliberately save a document to an account workspace, including the free workspace plan.
What happens if I hit a limit?
Nothing is deleted. You can still upload, open, download and edit everything you already have. The next action returns 30 days after its original use, or you can upgrade for more capacity.
Can I cancel?
Any time, and your documents stay reachable on the free plan. We do not hold files hostage.
What about scans and Google Drive?
Pro can make scanned PDFs searchable. Every workspace plan can import from Google Drive and save work back to it.
